Answer is simply No. The average cotton towel (terry cloth or turkish) only has a UPF factor between 5-7. When your regular towel gest wet, your towel drops to about UPF 3, which exposes your skin to harmful UV radiation.
Easy! Just like any other towel. We recommend washing your towel in a mild detergent with cold water using a washing machine. Use your conventential drying machine on low heat.
Our towel has been lab tested to continue it's UPF 50+ fabric rating even after 100 machine washes & dryings.
